GLENVILLE - More than 40 employers will attend the Health Care: Get Into It! job and career fair from 1 to 5 p.m. Thursday at the River Stone Manor, 1437 Amsterdam Road.
The free event is sponsored by the state Department of Labor, Northeast New York Association of Health Care Recruitment and Iroquois Healthcare Association. Employers attending the event are offering both full- and part-time positions for certified nursing assistants, dental hygienists, lab support associates, licensed practical nurses, occupational therapists, speech therapists and many more.
'Our job fairs offer tremendous opportunities for both employers and job seekers,' said Labor Commissioner Linda Angello. 'It is one of the most efficient ways we have to bring job seekers together with employers seeking qualified individuals to fill their employment needs.'
Companies attending the job fair include Northeast Health, Living Resources, Empire Blue Cross, Ellis Hospital, St. Clare's Hospital, Seton Health, St. Mary's Hospital and St. Peter's Healthcare Services.
